Derek qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and is the Managing Director of DRA Conveyancing Ltd.

In 2010 Derek made the decision to leave one of Yorkshire’s largest firms of solicitors in order to form DRA Conveyancing. The firm commenced trading in March 2011.
As a Licensed Conveyancer and full Member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters, Derek operates in Conveyancing and Wills, Estate Planning and Powers of Attorney.
In today’s highly regulated legal environment, much of Derek’s work is necessarily of a managerial nature. The prime focus is in ensuring the quality of the work carried out for clients, whilst complying with the many legal and regulatory obligations upon regulated law firms.

Tanya joined the firm in 2016 in a similar role to Brooke, at a time when the firm’s move to its prominent high street location led to a significant growth in the number of clients and cases. Again, along with Brooke, Tanya plays a key front of office role in dealing with equiries from clients, Estate Agents, and other Lawyers, and in liaising with clients’ mortgage lenders.
All of our staff work on a true teamworking basis. All staff will assist their colleagues such that if a client’s own dedicated case-handler is not available, then the client’s legal matter will always have unbroken attention and appropriate supervision.
